GolfSense - SMART Control your Water Consumption
SMART control your Water Consumption
Ever left a heater on, an air conditioner or your underfloor heating and gone to work or left your home for holiday? Wouldn’t it be great if you could get an alert that your device is on or better still turn off the device in an instant from your mobile phone. Ever left your garden hose on and gone to work or left your home for holiday? Wouldn’t it be great if you could get an alert that your garden hose has been left switched on and wasting water or get updates on your mobile phone of the saturation level of your garden and therefore be informed of when is best to water your grass or plants.
At HayMacs we like to enable things one step further by proactively monitoring your plant or garden soil state and optimise for effective water consumption management.
HayMacs provides a solution where we supply and configure soil monitoring sensors in your garden. This gives you an active view on the amount of precipatation that has occurred recently. Coupled with a smart irrigation or smart hose water control device the solution can be used to control the flow of water to irrigate your garden in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
HayMacs also provides solutions to optimise water consumption for Golf courses, Farms and Vineyards.

The first thing we recommend is to place soil moisture sensors in key regions of your garden. You can use these sensors to understand the water saturation levels of your soil and then decide on how to act to ensure that your plants and grass are kept in optional condition.

However, HayMacs also have an AI (Artificial Intelligence) based learning service that can be activated to help you optimize the watering conditions of your garden. The solution balances when to irrigate but with being aware and seeking to reduce the consumption of water. For example as soon as the sensors indicate that the water saturation level is sufficient it signals to switch off the hose or irrigation system thus saving water.
